Suadela Intimates is a collective shop run by two Chicago area burlesque goddesses. Sauda Namir and Cruel Valentine bring you the the most titillating pasties - whether creative or classic - suitable for the stage or the bedroom.

We love to craft in cording, glitter, rhinestones, sequin and lush fabrics. Beyond the lines offered in the shop, we invite you to let your whimsy inspire custom crafted pasties. We specialize and delight in making punchline pasties - the tiny touch that ties the whole act together! We've made the spectacular and the fabulously bizarre: Birds with wing tassels, microwaves with working doors, a flying V guitar, sea crabs... the list goes on and on! It all started with our unique pasties and has since grown to include an intimate body shop, handcrafted jewelry, and vintage treasures.

What's behind the name? Suadela is the Roman name for the Greek goddess Peitho. She personifies persuasion, seduction, and charming speech. She is closely tied to Venus (Aphrodite) the goddess of love, beauty and sexuality. Her past is somewhat mysterious. She is daughter of the Titans Tethys and Oceanus. In some cases, she is counted as one of the Gratiae (Graces), patronesses of amusement and festivities. We hope Suadela will offer you the mystery and persuasive seduction you crave!
